As we all are impacted, more and more, by a dying earth, it is all the more crucial that we strengthen our moral fortitude and awareness, because as the environment around us withers, the heart and compassion of humanity also weakens.
We must walk the path of truth and purposefulness, and brace ourselves for the coming difficulties; especially the withering away of human integrity, empathy, and sensitivity to the immeasurable living organisms that surround us, however small and invisible they may be, and from that which is good and worthy, in ourselves.
Let us prepare for the growing apathy and desperation that encircles us and ready ourselves to restore the profound virtues we so value yet, from disuse, have so long forgotten. Our desire to consume, our desire for comfort and convenience, expands, while our personal integrity and discipline, atrophies. Refuse to be mired in comfort. Be the example of awareness, simplicity, and self-reliance.
