China Seaside Ecological Theme Park
A new theme park never before seen in China, an agricultural-ecological-seaside theme park. This park, sitting on a 4,000 square acre seaside property includes presentations of China’s past, present, and future, all while sharing revolutionary teachings on nature and agricultural development. In collaboration with the Shenzhen University Design Institute and the Southeast University Design Institute.

(Left) “Performing Arts Island.” The island features an expanding/contracting roof that covers the audience and stage areas during hot and rainy days, lights that shine one kilometer into the air, and a section able to float away from the main island.
(Left) “Live Performance/Movie Theater.” Expanding/retracting roof domes that control light, water-filled glass cones able to adhere to desired temperatures, and an exterior shell of photovoltaic cells for electrical power.
(Right) “Magnus Balloon Seaview Ride.” This guided ride lets visitors view the magnificent sea coast from the air. Giant spinning balloon vehicles lift visitors into the air using the, “Magnus,” effect lift system.
